Your Shed Delivery
What to Expect from the Shed Genius Team

Congratulations on your new shed or structure! We’re excited to help you prepare for the arrival of our delivery and installation team. The day of your scheduled delivery, our experienced technicians will arrive on site and work their magic to get your structure set-up quickly and safely.

And the best part? We’ll leave little evidence that we were even there – other than your shiny new structure of course! With our specialized tools, your lawn will be left unscathed and your shed will be placed exactly where you want it.

Your Satisfaction is Our Priority

Your satisfaction is our top priority during the delivery and installation process. Our technicians are trained to use specialized equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure a successful installation and minimal disruption to your property.

Before we leave a delivery, we ensure that you are completely satisfied with your building’s placement.

The Mule – Minimizing Our Delivery Footprint

We strive to minimize our delivery footprint by using a lightweight piece of equipment called a Mule.

The Mule is a maneuverable forklift-like device that helps place buildings in tight locations where trucks would be a nuisance. The mule leaves behind tracks similar to that of a large lawnmower; you’ll hardly be able to tell we were there!

Preparing the site

Before the installation team arrives, you will need to prepare the site where the shed will sit. While they can work around bushes or trees, it is important to make sure the area is flat and free of any large rocks, roots, or debris. Additionally, if there is a fence or gate that they will need to go through, you may need to make sure there is enough space for them to maneuver the shed through it.

Laying the Foundation

While the base of your shed or structure is treated to protect it from the elements, we recommend putting down a pad of crushed limestone to act as a foundation of your shed – a depth of 4 to 6 inches is ideal.

The pad should be at least 2 feet wider and 2 feet longer than your shed. For tiny houses and cabins, we can optionally install a sonotube foundation.

Feel free to call or email for additional information.
